Training Update - All Systems Go!

Well, it ended up taking a full two weeks to shake off the foot issue but things are finally back to normal there. The hip thing is hanging around but getting better and warms up nice so I’m going with it. Had to miss the Torchlight 8k. Bummer! Would have liked to have run on the viaduct but didn’t want to do anything to endanger the upcoming half.

Speaking of, here comes the first big hurdle! Half marathon in Vancouver. Looks like it will be an absolutely beautiful run. Vancouver is always a blast and Ross will be making the trip with me so adventures await! I was holding my breath a bit before getting a 10 mile run in on Saturday. I’ll survive the half but any previous time goals are out the window. I definitely lost a chunk while being injured. Prolly should have been in the pool or something instead of being on the patio drinking beer. It’s summer so whatever!! As explained before, this year is about proving to myself I can do it and just finishing races.

Cannot afford to get injured again though…

…Missed last weeks post due to being pissed again, stats below!
